You can almost hear the water as it rushes down the stream. The cascading crystalline water seems almost symbolic in this painting. After following a hurried path through the falls it seems to pause momentarily. It pools around ancient boulders and slows. It seems to remind us that in this time conscious world, we too should rest and enjoy the beauty around us. In this case, a nearly perfect tree ablaze with falls glory is our reward for taking a moment to catch our breath.
